Romans 8:28

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Yes, all things – even totalled cars. God knows what He’s doing and He knows just what we need to help us grow. Some of the good I can see in this:

• gratefulness to God for protecting the girls
• greater awareness of His care for them
• increased awareness of the insignificance of material possessions
• growth in compassion toward one who has erred
• growth in patience and flexibility for all of us as we cope with one less vehicle
• trusting God to provide for our needs
• increased wisdom and caution on the part of a certain young lady

Thank you, Lord, for this opportunity to grow in faith and godly character. You indeed are good!
